We are Barbara and Jordi, a Polish-Spanish couple who once lived an ordinary life in Dublin, Ireland. I worked in a maternity hospital, while Jordi worked as a landscaper. Our life was safe, predictable—a routine many would envy. But beneath that comfort, there was a longing. A yearning for something wilder. Something deeper. Something freer. And for Jordi, an incurable lung disease added a more serious perspective to everything, pushing us to face the fragility of time and the urgency of our dreams.
This is not a fairytale or a simple adventure. It’s a real story—filled with struggle, joy, pain, and triumph. But above all, it’s a story of us: ordinary people who chose to begin, even when it seemed impossible.
We want to show you that you too can fulfill your dreams if you dare.

This book – is a rebellion dressed in dust and handlebars. It doesn’t just recount a journey; it seduces you into it. You feel the ache of muscles, the exhilaration of the unknown, and the warmth of strangers. It is less a memoir than a love affair with life itself.
They had no idea what lay ahead but they rode into it anyway. And what they found was greater than anything they left behind.

It’s a truly inspiring book, full of captivating stories. I really admire their courage and persistence in exploring the planet entirely by bike.
If you’re into bikepacking or thinking about starting your own adventure, this book is for you. Don’t miss it!
